ANALYZING ATHLETIC FUNCTION AND ATHLETIC ABILITY USING MOTION CAPTURE

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire three-dimensional athletic data easily and inexpensively without applying stress on a subject. PSOLUTION: A subject 5 (an athlete or the like) is photographed by using two or more television cameras 1 and 2 from different angles simultaneously. Image signals thus obtained are incorporated into a computer 4 via a video capture board 3. Three-dimensional athletic data of each part of the body of the subject (the athlete or the like) are calculated and collected using a motion capture function software on the basis of the image data of frame unit that are acquired by photographing the subject (the athlete or the like) from different angles simultaneously.
