PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CATV video/audio distribution system capable of providing video with high quality to subscribers' homes, without the need for a broad wireless band wherein high carrier frequency stability is not required for apparatuses installed in a wireless base station and in the subscribers' homes.;SOLUTION: The wireless base station 120 extracts one broadcast signal, designated by a subscriber terminal 140 from among a plurality of broadcast signals transmitted from a CATV station 110, demodulates the signal into a plurality of program signals, carries out error correction, extracts a program signal designated by the subscriber terminal 140 and wirelessly transmits the signal to the subscriber terminal 140. The subscriber terminal 140 transmits information for designating the broadcast signal and the program signal to the wireless base station 120 and receives a wireless signal from the wireless base station 120, to extract the designated program signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
