PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conceal from a third party an authentication action established between a semiconductor memory card and a memory card control device.;SOLUTION: The memory card control device comprises a host side memory card interface 38 for executing data exchange with the semiconductor memory card 25, an authentication information holding table 39 for storing authentication information for authenticating the semiconductor memory card 25 in association with card-specific identification information, and a memory card control part 37 for, when the host side memory card interface 38 detects access from the semiconductor memory card, acquiring the card-specific identification information from the semiconductor memory card 25, reading the authentication information corresponding to the acquired card-specific identification information from the authentication information holding table 39, and executing a command issuance procedure based on the authentication information to output a normal command to the semiconductor memory card 25.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
