PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt joint construction method for a steel frame column and a joint structure for connecting tightly by use of an energy absorbing member and absorbing tensile stress generated by pulling-out force by the energy absorbing member to reduce response property.;SOLUTION: A bolt 7 hole is machined in a joint steel pipe 5 rising on an upper face of a diaphragm 3 of a column base and lower end parts of an upper steel pipe column 6 to fix them temporarily. A bolt hole is machined in a damper plate 10 for absorbing energy and the joint steel pipe and lower end parts of the upper steel pipe column to protrude a shearing resistance member 8 rising vertically along an inner peripheral face of the joint steel pipe high and join the shearing resistance member with the inner peripheral face of the joint steel pipe and the diaphragm for installation. The lower end part of the upper steel pipe column is inserted into an outer peripheral part along the shearing resistance member, and a lower end is put on an upper end of the joint steel pipe in a metal touch condition. The damper plate is applied to each bolt hole by letting a bolt pass through the upper steel pipe column and the joint steel pipe, and the nut is screwed in to connect tightly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
