PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission source terminal identification information notification system or the like in which impersonation can be prevented by guaranteeing that the telephone number of a caller is right, on a carrier side when a caller number notification function in an IP telephone is realized.;SOLUTION: The communication address of a call origination apparatus 101 and its terminal identification information are registered in a server device 104 or the like. When originating a call, the call origination device 101 transmits the communication address and the terminal identification information to a call termination apparatus 102. The call termination apparatus 102 inquires terminal identification information corresponding to the received communication address successively to server devices 103, 104 or the like. Each of the server devices 103, 104 or the like searches the terminal identification information corresponding to that communication address from a data table and answers it to the call termination apparatus 102.
