PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use highly pure aequorin reproduced from recombinant apoaequorin, thereby enhancing detection accuracy on the measurement of the concentration of calcium ion.;SOLUTION: In a solution of aequorin reproduced from recombinant apoaequorin, a concentration gradient elution chromatography method is used to remove the isoforms of the apoaequorin and non-luminous isoforms contained in the aequorin-reproduced solution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
