FORMULA FEED FOR GROWING CALF OF NURSING STAGE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING GROWTH OF CALF BY FEEDING THE SAME

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formula feed for growing a calf of nursing stage, effective for increasing the feed intake of calf of about 7 days to about 3 months old to prevent the growth insufficiency and developmental arrest of calf and reduce the loss in stock raising industry, and to provide a method for improving the growth of calf by supplying the feed. PSOLUTION: The formula feed for the growth of calf of nursing stage is compounded with a maltodextrin having a saccharification degree of 5-25 in an amount of 1-10 wt.% based on the whole weight of the feed.
