A state information input part 41 of the management device 4 inputs sensor data such as pressure and temperature measured by the various sensors 2, and the flag information managed by a control circuit of the refrigeration/air conditioning appliance 1 as the state information. A failure diagnosis processing part 42 detects the modulation generated in the refrigeration/air conditioning appliance 1 by executing each algorithm, and automatically analyzes the causes on the basis of a value of the state information when the failure is determined.
