PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation apparatus for scientific phenomena and teaching materials for science experiment which are inexpensive, are small in environmental load and are suitable for easily enjoying state-of-the-art technology, and a method for manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: In the evaluation apparatus composed of: a base plate 12 which is formed with long grooves 14, 16 and 20 of ≤1 mm2 in sectional area on the front surface of a plate-like body; and a covering plate which is arranged in tight contact with the front surface of the base plate and forms fine flow passages 14A, 16A and 20A at the base plate by covering the long grooves, the one-side ends of the plurality of the flow passages flow together at one confluent point and the other ends of the plurality of the flow passages are communicatively connected to liquid pool sections 24, 26 and 28 respectively of 5 to 5,000 mm3 in volume. The one or more liquid pool sections are provided with liquid suction means 38 and the recognition of the scientific phenomena within the flow passages by visual sensation is made possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
