PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of performing a 1st side printing and a 2nd side printing without changing its configuration.;SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic printing device provided with a heat roller 7 which is rotatably supported so as to melt and fix a toner image formed on a continuous paper sheet 3, a pressure roller 9 coming in contact with the heat roller 7 and supported so as to be away from the heat roller 7, a pre-heater 5 arranged just in front of the pressure roller and preheating the paper sheet, and a paper lifting unit 16 which is relatively shifted to/from the pre-heater and making the paper sheet 3 away from the surface of the pre-heater 5 when a printing operation is stopped, the projecting amount of the paper lifting unit 16 from the surface of the pre-heater 5 when the printing operation is stopped is made adjustable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
