PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device which reduces shock jitter by shortening an actuation interval by the load of a driven means and lightening a shock made when a rotating body abuts on a body to be actuated or when it holds minute space therewith by the low-speed movement of the rotating body, which is easy-to-handle, excellent in durability, compact and inexpensive and by which a high-quality recorded image is formed at high speed, and to provide a developing device, a developing cartridge, a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus equipped with the driving device.;SOLUTION: The driving device is constituted of the driven means 1 rotating coaxially with the acting rotating body of an actuating body acting while abutting on the body to be actuated or while holding the minute space, a rotation driving means 2 rotating and driving to move the driven means 1 and also rotating it, and a clutch 3 intermittently transmitting rotational driving force between the driven means 1 and the driving means 2 at the rotating and driving time at revolving speed in a low speed mode to perform lower speed rotation than full speed rotation at the acting time of the driving means 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
