PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an optical material and the optical material which have high heat resistance, a low double refractive index, a small photoelastic coefficient, high optical transparency, toughness, a small light deterioration, and cause no problem that a foreign substance adheres on a light emitting face upon mounting or the light emitting face is damaged by mounting equipment, and to provide a producing method of the optical material, and to provide a liquid crystal display and light emitting diode using the optical material.;SOLUTION: The composition for the optical material comprises (A) an organic compound having, in a molecule, at least two of carbon-carbon double bonds having reactivity with an SiH group, (B) a silicon compound having at least two of the SiH groups in a molecule, (C) a hydrosilylation catalyst, and (D) a particulate filler, as essential components.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
