PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for executing processor tasks on a multi-processor system. PSOLUTION: The multi-processor system is provided with a plurality of sub-processing units and a main processing unit that can access a shared memory. Each sub-processing unit includes an on-chip local memory separately from the shared memory. In the method, the processor tasks are copied into the local memory of the sub-processing units from the shared memory in order to execute the processor tasks, execution of the processor tasks from the shared memory is prohibited and at least one processor task is migrated from one of the sub-processing units to another of sub-processing units.
