PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a fuel injection valve on a fuel distribution pipe in a good manner by specifying the depth of a fuel inlet portion to be inserted into a fuel supply port in a relationship between the fuel injection valve and the fuel supply port, not via a connection member.;SOLUTION: This structure of mounting the fuel injection valve on the fuel distribution pipe comprises an annular connection grove 12 formed in the outer peripheral face of an intermediate portion of the fuel injection valve 1 having a fuel injection portion 5 at one end and the fuel inlet portion 6 at the other end, a connection flange 17 lined with the connection groove 12 in the axial direction and formed in the fuel supply port 16 of the fuel distribution pipe D, and a flange portion 22 and a locking groove 21 provided in the connection member 20 holding the fuel injection valve 1 and the fuel supply port 16 for engaging with the connection groove 12 and the connection flange 17, respectively. A step portion 13a which abuts on the connection flange 17 to specify the depth of the inlet portion 6 to be inserted into the fuel supply port 16 is integrally formed on a synthetic resin shell 10 molded to cover a coil portion of the fuel injection valve 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
