MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF FUEL INJECTION VALVE IN FUEL DISTRIBUTION PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position the rotating direction of a fuel injection valve relative to a fuel distribution pipe and easily mount the fuel injection valve in the fuel distribution pipe.;SOLUTION: The fuel connector part 1 of the fuel injection valve J is inserted, liquid-tight, into the fuel injection valve insert hole 13 of the fuel distribution pipe D, a positioning projected part 6 formed on the fuel injection valve J is inserted into a guide groove 19 bored in the guide hole 12 of the fuel distribution pipe D and disposed to position the fuel injection valve J in the rotating direction. On the other hand, the locking bent part 20c at the upper end of an elastic locking pin P formed of a spring material in a fork shape is locked to the locking projected part 16 of the fuel distribution pipe D, the semi-circular parts 20e and 20e at the lower end thereof are divergently disposed on the outer periphery of a housing 3 facing the lower surface 4a of the annular flange part 4 of the fuel injection valve J, and the fuel injection valve J is mounted in the fuel distribution pipe D with the elastic locking pin P.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
