PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating coating peeling device of a straight wire that can automate an insulating coating peeling process even for the thin straight wire of, for example, 0.1 mm, is less in peeling failure and can obtain a coil of stable quality.;SOLUTION: There are used a plate 20 with a groove 22 shallower than the thickness of the straight wire 11 formed on its surface, and a cutter 30 arranged so as to oppose the plate 20. An insulating coating on the single face of the flat type wire 11 is peeled off by moving the cutter 30 to the tip direction of the straight wire 11 together with the plate 20 in a state that the straight wire 11 is inserted into the groove 22 of the plate and the cutting edge 32 of the cutter 30 contacts the plate 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
