EXCESSIVE RESPONSE PREVENTION DEVICE FOR UPSTREAM SIDE WATER LEVEL CONTROL GATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excessive response prevention device for an upstream side water level control gate capable of preventing excessive response and excessive operation of a door body due to hydraulic conditions on the upstream side, for example, swell of water surface and waves.;SOLUTION: This excessive response prevention device for the upstream side water level control gate 1 is provided with a flow-in control means for controlling flowing-in of water into a water pouring tank 8 in accordance with vertical movement of a float 5. The flow-in control means is constituted in such a way that the water pouring tank 8 and the float 5 are mutually connected by a connection means 31 and operation amount proportional to operation amount of vertical movement of the float 5 by corresponding to the vertical movement is transmitted to the water pouring tank 8 through the connection means 31 to elevate and lower the water pouring tank 8, thereby preventing hunting. Since water does not flow into the water pouring tank 8 simultaneously even if swell and waves occur, the door body does not respond excessively and a stable condition can be held. The door body rises and lowers at proper elevation speed by corresponding to change of water level to keep proper water level on the upstream side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
