PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green pigment composition for a color filter that is superior in storage stability of pigment dispersion solution, and the color filter that is superior in transparency of coating and the contrast when using the green pigment composition for a green pixel.;SOLUTION: The green pigment composition for the color filter contains a copper halide phthalocyanine pigment and low copper halide phthalocyanine pigment sulfonic acid derivative, and having an average primary particle size of 0.01-0.1 μm and aspect ratio of 1-3. The green pigment composition for the color filter contains the green pigment composition and yellow pigment.
