PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus that avoids confusion due to unnecessary traffic and easily provides information important on maintenance to a user by informing the user in advance that how many speeches an IP phone makes in a LAN and the IP phone can make at maximum and to provide a speech information display system for the communication apparatus, a program, a recording medium and a data terminal device.;SOLUTION: The communication apparatus 6 interconnecting the LAN 3 and an external network 4 is provided with: a monitor means 12 for monitoring a communication state; a recording means 10 for recording information about the number of simultaneous speeches on the basis of results of monitoring; and a display means 31 for indicating the information about the number of simultaneous speeches; or a measurement means 13 for measuring a communication state up to an ISP gateway 5 so that the communication apparatus 6 may record and display the information of the maximum number of simultaneous speeches altogether on the basis of results of the measurement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
