PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of conducting a handwritten character recognition based on a parameter calculated from the stroke of a handwritten character by collecting the handwritten character and to provide a computer program and a data processing system thereof.;SOLUTION: A method of conducting the handwritten character recognition by the analysis of the starting point and the ending point of the stroke includes a step of identifying a stroke starting event and a stroke ending event, and a step of calculating the stroke parameter from the coordinates of the stroke starting event and the stroke ending event.
