PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a port setting automatic changing method and a port setting automatic conversion system capable of providing a comfortable operating environment without applying a burden for the work to a user, and a program and a storage medium therefor.;SOLUTION: This port setting automatic changing system comprises a network address detection part 302 for acquiring the network address of a computer; a network address detection part 302 for determining whether this network address acquired by the network address detection part is differed from a network address acquired last or not; a network printer name acquisition part 303 for acquiring, in case of determination of the difference in network address by the detection part 302, information for a printer to an output port registered in the computer; a printer detection part 304 for acquiring the network address of the printer based on the information acquired by the network printer name acquisition part; and an output port change part 305 for automatically changing the network address of the output port.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
