PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate correctly, and to improve reliability of an ultrasonic test, in a method for discriminating between a shape echo and a defect echo generated from a weld zone shape of a welded joint on the test surface and on the test surface back side of a specimen in an ultrasonic test method.;SOLUTION: When discriminating between the defect echo and the shape echo in the ultrasonic test method, since an influence by the weld zone shape of the welded joint on the test surface and on the test surface back side to be subjected to an ultrasonic inspection is strong, the weld zone shape is measured when performing the ultrasonic test, and determination is performed by adding a shape measurement result to an ultrasonic test result.
