METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COLLAGEN-CALCIUM PHOSPHATE COMPLEX, AND HARD TISSUE ALTERNATE MATERIAL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a collagen-calcium phosphate complex, capable of immediately forming a calcium phosphate film by depositing a large quantity of calcium phosphate on the surface of collagen and manufacturing the collagen-calcium phosphate complex easily and in a short period of time during an operation, etc.;SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the collagen-calcium phosphate complex comprises a process of bringing unstable calcium phosphate super-saturated solution into contact with collagen. The unstable calcium phosphate super-saturated solution is (a) a solution in which calcium phosphate is naturally deposited by spontaneous nucleation, (b) a solution prepared by mixing at least two kinds of solutions. At the same time, the unstable calcium phosphate super-saturated solution is (c) a solution in which the spontaneous nucleation is sufficiently delayed, and (d) a solution prepared so that the deposition of calcium phosphate is generated substantially only on the collagen because of the delay.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
