BASE MATERIAL FOR CULTURE FOR CULTURING MARINE ALGA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for culture for culturing marine alga in which operation during culture such as washing, can be reduced and oyster shell and other seashells which could not be used can be utilized.;SOLUTION: The base material for seed culture of laver is obtained by bonding two or more sea shells cut to ≥ 1 cm³ to a plastic sheet. The culturing base material having good growth of filament and formation of sporangium and good workability (washing during culture and vertical exchange operation) is obtained by bonding two or more sea shells cut to ≥ 1 cm³ on a plastic plate. Oyster shell and other seashell which could not be used hitherto can be utilized, and the base material for culturing marine algae can stably be provided by this method cutting seashell and using the cut sea shells.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
