PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of visually measuring brightness property of ambient lighting around display. PSOLUTION: The method of visually measuring brightness property of ambient lighting around display comprises a process S100 of determining a reference brightness according to the kind of a display, a process S200 of gaining information related to a place in which the display is used based on the selection of a user and setting the brightness value every prescribed brightness interval according to the reference brightness and the place information and a process S300 of transforming the brightness of a prescribed reference image to the brightness value corresponding to the brightness interval respectively, displaying the brightness value to a user, gaining the information related to an image nearest to the lighting around the display based on the selection of the user, thereby measuring the brightness of the ambient lighting.
