PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for matted printing with a light amount of a coated material, having white paper gloss reduced low, hardly causing staining of the white paper face with a printing ink even if the white paper face (unprinted face) is rubbed with a printed face, for example, in a printing step, a book binding step and a conveying step, and produced with excellent coating operability.;SOLUTION: The coated paper for the matted printing, having a coated layer obtained by coating a coating agent consisting essentially of a pigment including kaolin and calcium carbonate, and a binder on front and back surfaces of a base paper is obtained by coating the coating agent in the light coated amount of ≤10 g/m² expressed in terms of solid per one surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
