PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical approximate synchronizing CDMA system and an optical radio system using it which can be simply constituted, and inexpensively constructed for realizing high speed transmission and multiple access at the same time, and for flexibly facilitating countermeasures to communication specifications without generating any interference with the other stations.;SOLUTION: In this optical approximate synchronizing CDMA system, a transmission side transmits an information frame waveform generated based on different transmission systems constituted of elements which are 1 and 0 corresponding to the ON/OFF of light for binary information, and a reception side demodulates the binary information when a positive or negative peak value appears in the case of shift 0 in its self-correlation with a reception system constituted of 1 and -1 generated corresponding to a pair of transmission systems. Thus, it is possible to reduce the influence of a multi-path by eliminating any interference with the other stations by supplying inter-correlation between the shift section in the neighborhood of 0 shift and the other users with a non-correlation region in the 0 shift section and its neighboring shift sections.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
