PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus having a function of guiding a photographing procedure. PSOLUTION: A guidance function attached imaging apparatus A in the embodiment has a storage device 31 related to an I/O processing section 7 via e.g., a versatile bus 12. The storage device 31 is provided removably from other part of the guidance function attached imaging apparatus A and includes a guidance file storage area 33, a user definition guidance file storage area 35, and a photographing data storage area 37. A plurality of the guidance files are stored in the guidance file storage area 33. When a user selects a desired guidance or a guidance related to an event going to be photographed from now before photographing, a guidance such as a GUI or a voice is properly provided at photographing start and the user starts the photographing along with the provided guidance.
