VOICE QUALITY EVALUATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VoIP NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation system which automates evaluation and concretely specifies the trouble relating to voice quality with respect to voice evaluation techniques for VoIP, and to provide a method therefor.;SOLUTION: A voice file generated by using various patterns for voice evaluation is received from a terminal on the other party through an IP network to perform voice recognition. A recognition result is computed as a recognition rate, and a trouble factor analysis means specifies the trouble by comparison of the recognition rate and a reference value. An analysis value is transmitted to the other party. The other party sends a voice packet for evaluation including the trouble in a simulation on the basis of the analysis value. This voice packet is received, and the validity of the trouble specification is verified by the correlation between the analysis result obtained by voice recognition or the like and the trouble factor obtained beforehand.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
