PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of impossibility of clear discrimination between primer-treated and untreated portions of a subsrate colored with a dark color, such as dark blue or black, in cases where visibility of a primer composition is required to discriminate finish of a primer treatment of a substrate visually and reliably so as to prevent uneven and incomplete application of e.g. a sealing material.;SOLUTION: The primer composition consists of a primer added with a hardening ingredient, a flake metal powder and an organic dye, and the surface of its film after hardening has an appearance of a colored metallic tone. The composition allows a reliable visual check of application of a primer for not only light-colored substrates but dark-colored ones.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
