PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudoplastic aqueous ink capable of preventing the ink from being fluidized, while writing down with a ballpoint pen is tentatively stopped, because of having high viscosity at a low shear rate, and capable of guaranteeing suitable supply of the ink, when the writing is rapidly conducted, because of having low viscosity at a high shear rate.;SOLUTION: This pseudoplastic aqueous ink for the ballpoint pen contains at least a coloring agent, water, and a viscosity control system of association type, wherein the viscosity control system makes the ink have viscosity of 20-40 mPa×s at a shear rate of 1000 s^-1 and viscosity of 10,000-12,000 mPa×s at a shear rate of 1 s^-1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
