PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PEG (polyethylene glycol)-modified reconstructed Hb (hemoglobin) having an SOD (superoxide dismutase) activity provided with biocompatibility, retentivity in blood and the SOD activity and to provide a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: The feature is as follows. A metal complex of a cationized porphyrin (or a cationized metal porphyrin complex) is synthesized. Hb is reconstructed by using the synthesized metal complex.
