PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for regenerating an existing water reservoir made of concrete, which enhances workability of maintenance etc. and waste dischargeability by preventing the generation of a protrusion in a joint between stainless steel plates laid on an inner wall surface of a water storage tank, and which enhances work execution properties while enhancing durability by increasing the strength of joining of the stainless steel plate to an inner wall surface of the water reservoir when the stainless steel plate is laid on the inner wall surface of the existing water reservoir made of the concrete, and the water reservoir.;SOLUTION: This construction method comprises: an anchor embedding process wherein an anchor is embedded in a prescribed position on the inner wall surface of the water reservoir; and a stainless steel plate joining process wherein the stainless steel plate with a plate thickness of 1.5-4 mm is joined to the anchor which is embedded in the anchor embedding process, and wherein an end of the stainless steel plate is joined to an end of the other stainless steel plate adjacent to the stainless steel plate by overlapping or butting against it, so that a watertight structure can be formed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
