PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, which enables the user to select a processing method geared to the remaining time, by indicating a remaining time for every usable application, and a method of indicating the residual capacity of a battery. PSOLUTION: This information processor has a battery part 10 which supplies it with power, residual capacity detectors 15 and 24 which detect the residual capacity of the battery part 10, a remaining time computing part 15 which computes a remaining time when the processing of the application to perform information processing by the power supplied from the battery part is possible, based on the detected residual capacity, and a display panel 21 which indicates this remaining time.
