PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile with an enlarged base and construction method for this pile which can be built by cutting earth and obstacles with a cutter at the tip of a cast-in-place casing tube and an inner excavator having no discharger which can be easily installed to or detached from the casing tube, the bearing force of the pile can be increased by attaching the steel pipe pile with enlarged base to the casing tube in a detachable manner, and the work can be carried out efficiently.;SOLUTION: This steel pipe pile can be installed to the tip portion of the casing tube in a detachable manner, it comprises an excavating bit installed at the outer side of the tip of the main body of the cylindrical steel pipe pile, and an excavating head formed to a spiral shape at the right and left on the outer periphery of the main body of the steel pipe pile with enlarged base connected to the excavating bit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
