PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized zirconia powder of high stabilization in which rare earth oxide particles such as yttria and zirconia particles are uniformly mixed for raw material for thermal spraying of TBC (thermal barrier coating).;SOLUTION: Raw material for thermal spraying of TBC is obtained by adding zirconia powder of specific surface area of ≥10 m2/g and rare earth oxide powder of specific surface area of ≥10 m2/g. In a method for manufacturing raw material for thermal spraying of TBC, zirconia powder of specific surface area of ≥10 m2/g and rare earth oxide powder of specific surface area of ≥10 m2/g are blended together with binder or dispersing agent in a slurry, granulated into the particle size of 10-100 μm, and heat-treated under the condition of 1,300-1,600°C for 1-10 hours.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
