PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent snow from adhering to a front face of a luminescent part of a traffic light.;SOLUTION: A hood to be mounted on the front face side of the luminescent part 12 of the traffic light 11 is equipped with a hood main body 2 which has a light shielding section 2a at a part corresponding to an upward section of an front area of the luminescent part 12, and a snow accretion prevention board 3 which is transparent and inclines diagonally downward direction towards back side from an apex part of the hood main body 2 and is set at the front face side of the hood main body 2. At the time of a snowfall or a snowstorm, the snow can be prevented from adhering to the front face of the luminescent part 12 by attaching a hood 1 for a traffic light of such a structure on the traffic light 11. Thereby, as a result that the function as a signal can be maintained at the time of the snowfall or the snowstorm, safety of a car or a pedestrian can be secured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
