PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical walking time calculation method and so forth capable of precisely calculating the walking time, such as the walking time calculation method for calculating the walking time between two points.;SOLUTION: The walking time calculation method for calculating the walking time, as the time required in walking between two arbitrary points, using map data, includes: a step for designating on the map data the two points in which the walking time is known; a step for determining the route between the designated two points using the map data, a step for determining the distance of the determined route between the two points; and a step for determining the walking velocity, on the basis of the determined distance of the route between the two points and the already known walking time, in which the walking time between the two arbitrary points is calculated, on the basis of the determined walking velocity.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
