PRESSURE-REGULATING ADAPTER STRUCTURE WITH FUNCTION TO PROTECT FILTER MEMBRANE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-regulating adapter structure capable of operating an automatic switching valve in a certain direction, while reducing the time to adjust a pressure difference and eliminating the need to adjust the automatic switching valve.;SOLUTION: The pressure-regulating adapter structure includes an external adapter 1 having an opening in its center and mounted in an opening cut in the outer wall 2 of a casing; a valve body 6 disposed to close the opening in the center of the external adapter 1 from the inside of the casing; an elastic body 7 that presses the valve body 6 against the outer wall 2 from the inside of the casing; an internal adapter 8 supporting the elastic body 7 and having a flow passage 13 on its outer periphery; and a filter membrane 9 provided in the flow passage 13. When pressure within the casing becomes lower than outside pressure, the valve body 6 moves into the casing while resisting the elastic force of the elastic body 7 to hold the flow passage 13 open. Preferably, a plurality of flow passages 13 are provided and the filter membranes 9 should be removably secured to the end face of the internal adapter 8 inside the casing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
