MUSIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND MOBILE TERMINAL USED FOR MUSIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of reproducing distributed musical piece data without any break.;SOLUTION: Musical piece data downloaded from a server 3 are stored in one buffer of a RAM (random access memory) of a mobile telephone set 1 and reproduced. If a user does not perform operation for stopping the reproduction of the musical piece data and the remaining amount of musical piece data which are not reproduced becomes smaller than a previously set remaining amount during the reproduction of the musical piece data, the CPU (central processing unit) of the mobile telephone set 1 requests the server 3 to distribute musical piece data to be reproduced next. The server 3 distributes the new musical piece data to the mobile telephone set 1. The downloaded new musical piece data are stored in the other buffer of the RAM. When the reproduction of the musical piece data stored in one buffer is completed, the mobile telephone set 1 reproduces the musical piece data stored in the other buffer uninterruptedly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
