PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude detector, capable of precisely detecting the changes in the posture of a two-wheeled vehicle, regardless of the road conditions or the expansion/contraction state of the suspensions, using only two or three GPS receivers.;SOLUTION: The GPS receivers 11 and 12 receive GPS radio waves transmitted from a plurality of GPS satellites. A first position computating part 21 detects the current position P1 of the first GPS receiver 11, on the basis of a GPS signal S1 outputted from the first GPS receiver 11. A second position computating part 22 detects the current position P2 of the second GPS receiver 12, on the basis of a GPS signal S2 outputted from the second GPS receiver 12. The traveling direction detecting part 40 detects the traveling direction of the vehicle. An attitude variation detecting part 30 detects the variations in the attitude of the vehicle, on the basis of the current positions P1 and P2 of the GPS receivers 11 and 12 and the traveling direction of the vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
