METHOD FOR TESTING PASSING GAS WHEN CLOSING GOVERNOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing gas passing through a governor, capable of testing the passing gas in a short period of time, when closing the governor.;SOLUTION: In the method which tests the amount of passing gas when closing the governor, based on time changes in the pressure on the secondary side of the governor 1, a switching valve 4 disposed on the downstream side of the governor 1 is closed. A system, divided by the governor 1 and the switching valve 4, is forcibly filled with a gas, corresponding to the locked up amount of the governor from outside the system, thereby making the governor perfectly closed. The pressure on the primary side of the governor 1 is set at a prescribed value, and the pressure on the secondary side of the governor 1 is detected for a prescribed period by a pressure detector 7, and the amount of passing gas, when closing the governor, is obtained based on the temporal change of the pressure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
