PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and easily confirm the benefit qualification of medical treatment from prescriptions or an insurance identification certificate brought by a patient at an insurance pharmacy. PSOLUTION: The computer of an insurance pharmacy 2 accepts prescriptions (S1), and confirms prescriptions by communicating prescription information with the computer system of a hospital 1 which has medically examined a patient, and confirms the benefit qualification of insurance medical treatment, and attains medicine preparation (S3) and the transfer/accounting of medicine (S3, S4). Also, the computer of the insurance pharmacy 2 confirms insured policy by communicating the insurance identification certificate information with the computer system of an insurance association 4 instead of confirming the prescriptions(S5, S6). When receiving the presentation of a credit card from the patient, the computer of the insurance pharmacy 2 temporarily confirms the benefit qualification of the insurance medical treatment through communication with the computer system of a card issuing organization 5 instead of confirming the prescriptions or the insurance identification certificate.
