PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a major part of a conventional room with four and a half Tatami mats or six Tatami mats is occupied by a bed or a Futon (bedding).;SOLUTION: An Oshiire (Japanese-style closet) part is extended by about 20 cm in horizontal and vertical directions, respectively, and a gridiron assembled to let the air pass through is placed therein. By using the Oshiire as a bedroom, a small room is used efficiently, handling of the Futon is facilitated, and the Oshiire part is used also as a sofa or a large storage space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
