PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy hard sheet for a can end which has excellent cold rolling properties and anisotropy, can be cold-rolled to a final product without performing any heat treatment such as process annealing after hot rolling, suffers no generation of edge cracks in the cold rolling and has reduced 0 to 180° ears in drawing, and to provide its production method.;SOLUTION: The hard aluminum alloy sheet has a composition which consists of 1.5 to 2.8% Mg, 0.4 to 1.0% Mn, 0.05 to 0.35% Fe and 0.04 to 0.2% Si, wherein the ratio between the Mn content and the Fe content, Mn%/Fe%, is ≥1.8, and the balance Al with impurities. The 45°ear ratio is ≤5%, the 0 to 180°ear ratio is ≤3%, and a relation of (the 45° ear ratio)≥(the 0 to 180° ear ratio) holds. The area occupancy ratio of Al-Fe-Mn based crystallization products on the sheet surface is ≤1.5%, and the area occupancy ratio of Mg-Si based crystallization products is 0.1%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
