PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machining method of a leader tape tip part by which various processing such as medicine application, washing, dry can be omitted and shortening a process time and reducing a cost can be performed, also junction strength is improved and durability is obtained.;SOLUTION: In the leader tape in which the tip part of the tape leader is cut-processed mechanically in a taper shape, the tip part of the leader tape is cut-processed by rotating it using an end mill in which the number of blades are 2-4 blades and an irregular shape projection is provided at each blade in the direction of shaft with approximately 15,000 rpm and shifting the leader tape with approximately 1.5m/min so that surface coarseness RZ becomes 2μm≤RZ≤5μm (where, RZ: RZ-JIS standard).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
