PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily operable and simplified teaching support device for a robot.;SOLUTION: To a teaching operating point input means 43, teaching operating point information is inputted which indicates operating points where teaching is necessary for a robot 2 to perform unit operation at a reference work position 19a. To a work position relationship input means 44, work position relationship information is inputted which indicates a position relationship of each work position 19. On the basis of these pieces of information, a computing means 45 computes operating point information indicating each operating point to which the robot 2 should move for performing each unit operation at each work position 19. A computation result outputting means 46 provides a computation result by the computing means 45 to the robot 2. Thus, operating point information at each work position 19 is computed, and the computation result is provided to the robot 2, so that by only inputting teaching operating point information and work position relationship information at the reference work position 19a, each operating point at each work position 19 can be taught to the robot 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
