PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst film for a solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell wherein the use efficiency of a catalyst is improved more than conventional. PSOLUTION: This catalyst film for the solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell comprises graphite, catalyst particles and an ion-conductive resin. The catalyst film for polymer electrolyte fuel cell preferably has a conduction supporting agent. With the catalyst film for the solid polymer electrolyte fuel cell of this invention, since arrangement of the catalyst and the ion-conductive resin in the catalyst film is optimized by using the graphite, the fuel cell with high use efficiency of the catalyst, excellent current collecting property, and thus a long generation life can be provided.
