PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating comparison of device sensitivities of various SPR measuring devices quickly and simply with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: Concerning a method for measuring and evaluating the sensitivity of a surface plasmon resonance measuring device by using a flow injection analysis method, this sensitivity evaluation method of the surface plasmon resonance measuring device is characterized as follows: sucrose solutions having various concentrations and having fixed physico-chemical constants such as a refractive index, a viscosity or a density are used as sample solutions for device evaluation; a fixed volume of the sucrose solution is injected into the surface plasmon resonance measuring device wherein pure water is circulated at a fixed flow velocity as a moving phase; an angle change of the surface plasmon resonance acquired by reflecting the difference of the refractive index of the sucrose solution is measured; the difference between the refractive index of the sucrose solution and the refractive index of the pure water corresponding to an angle change response of the surface plasmon resonance in each concentration is determined; a correlation expression between the refractive indexes of the sucrose solution and the pure water is determined from each acquired value; and proportional constant parts in the correlation expression are compared mutually, to thereby determine the sensitivities of various surface plasmon resonance measuring devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
