JAPANESE LANGUAGE DISPLAY METHOD IN TERMINAL WITHOUT JAPANESE LANGUAGE DISPLAY FUNCTION, SYSTEM, PROGRAM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system allowing reading and displaying of a Japanese sentence in a terminal having no Japanese language display function. PSOLUTION: In an environment for transmitting/receiving information between a server 10 and the terminal 20 capable of displaying an image without having a display function for Japanese language, the server 10 holds information including kanji character codes in a database 27, calls the information including the kanji character codes from the database 27 by a request from the terminal 20, substitutes tag format data description language usable on the Internet 30 for the kanji character code parts by an optional number of characters to return it to the terminal 20, creates matching character images according to the kanji character codes transmitted from the terminal 20 and given as arguments, and outputs the created character images as image data to the terminal 20.
